I must say the Security were so friendly and helpful, showing me where to park then escorting me to the reception. The hotel is really plush and luxurious. The food was amazing - from the pastries/snack food to the full lunch. Conference facilities were great. In fact there was no glitch at all during the entire conference. Great venue overall"

The premises are excellent but for someone used to staying in Rosebank or Melrose, here you have to drive everywhere vs. have shops and restaurants on your doorstep. Moreover, when I needed help from the front desk, it wasn’t there. After an expensive 5 night stay, I requested a 2 hour extension on checkout time and they insisted this was only possible if paid! This came from both staff and supervisor. Requests to the front desk WhatsApp were not responded to. Significant overcharge in final bill which was charged to the holding card before approved so in the end it took 25 mins to check out. And multiple letters and bills slipped under the door during my stay highlighting the balance! It’s like the key focus is money, not service, which really lets down the hardworking teams elsewhere in the hotel - and I didn’t feel very valued."
